Crenshaw Living LLC began after a sudden house fire left its founder and her children suddenly homeless, with few resources to fall back on. That experience revealed how many Clevelanders face the same daily struggle: mothers with children, veterans, young adults leaving foster care, and individuals needing an affordable place to live while they get back on their feet. What started as a personal crisis became a mission to offer furnished housing that gives residents a real foundation to rebuild.

Getting started begins with a phone call to check bed availability in Cleveland, East Cleveland, or Bedford, since space fills on a rolling basis. Prospective residents discuss their needs and are matched with a furnished private room or shared sleeping quarters based on availability and budget. Once confirmed, move-in is simple: utilities, furnishings, and shared kitchen and laundry access are already in place, so residents can settle in and focus on stability right away.
